Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to M6.
A welcoming and aspirational primary school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher (Year 1) to join their team from June 2026 on a maternity cover basis. This role offers continuity, with the opportunity to continue with the class into Year 2 from September 2026.

The Role
• Full-time KS1 Teacher (Year 1 from June–July, progressing to Year 2 in September)
• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, assessment and reporting
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
• Work closely with a parallel class teacher to share planning and best practice
• Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience or strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• ECTs and experienced teachers (M1–M6) encouraged to apply
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Positive, proactive approach and commitment to pupil progress
