The Role
Shillito Group are recruiting on behalf of a well established manufacturing business for a Job Preparation Operative to join their Mould Shop team.
This is a hands on role focused on preparing equipment for production, supporting changeovers, and keeping operations running smoothly.
You will be working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key.
Hours
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
Friday: 6:00am - 11:00am
Pay
£15.00 per hour basic
£2.6894 per hour supplement
4.75% attendance allowanceAverage earnings: £35,700 per year
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing mould equipment for job changes
Ensuring parts and equipment are ready for production
Supporting machine changeovers
Loading and unloading equipment
Keeping the work area clean and organised
Supporting general operations within the mould shop
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
FLT licence is essential
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and able to work to deadlines
Willing to take ownership and get involved
Good attitude and team approach
