Position: Field Service Technician

Location: Doncaster

Hours: Basic 48hr week + O/T during weekdays and weekends

Salary: £40-45k Basic salary + Overtime @ 1.5 + Expenses, Accommodation, Van

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician on behalf of our client, a market leader in the industrial cooling tower sector. The ideal candidates will be based in South Yorkshire and cover industrial sites throughout the UK and occasionally Europe. The role will involve refurbish, servicing, maintenance and erecting of industrial cooling tower equipment and duties will include:

-Maintenance, servicing and installation of factory-assembled cooling tower equipment on customer sites

-Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, testing and repair machinery, including performing disassemblies, cleanings, and inspections (DCI).

-Surveying installations and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency

-Documentation: Create detailed teardown reports, maintain service records, and complete technical checklists.

-Site Safety: Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while working.

-Customer Support: Act as the technical face of the client, offering advice and identifying potential upgrades.

Requirements:

-CSCS / CCNSG card

-NVQ 3 / City & Guilds mechanical qualification

-Confined Space, Working at Height, Manual Handling an advantage

-Experience in industrial cooling tower or water treatment sector

-Good working knowledge of cooling towers (service, OEM or general operational understanding)

-Full UK driving licence and willing to travel extensively across the UK, with some overseas assignments

-Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with customers, subcontractors and internal teams

-Able to work in confined spaces, at height, and carry out manual handling tasks

-Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules at short notice

-Computer literate, organised and self-motivated
