About the Role
Enfield Council is seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Help Practitioner to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting families through effective multi-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Gather comprehensive information as part of MASH enquiries to identify risks, protective factors, and safeguarding concerns in collaboration with Social Workers, Advanced Social Work Practitioners, and Team Managers.
Provide timely and appropriate feedback to referrers, including partner agencies, organisations, and members of the public, where no further action is required.
Ensure all information sharing complies with GDPR and Working Together 2023 guidelines.
Offer advice and guidance to professionals regarding services and resources available to support children and families.
Respond effectively to enquiries from a range of sources, including the public, service users, internal departments, and external professionals.
Work closely with MASH partner agencies to deliver a coordinated, transparent, and child-focused response.
Share information appropriately in line with established information-sharing agreements.
Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
Accurately gather, analyse, and record sensitive and confidential data on relevant systems.
Maintain up-to-date and precise records in compliance with data protection legislation and support reporting requirements.Ideal Candidate
Experience working within a safeguarding or children’s services environment.
Strong understanding of multi-agency working, particularly within a MASH setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and data protection legislation.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
