Welder / Fabricator

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Chippenham area who are actively looking to recruit a Welder / Fabricator to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

MIG welding to a high standard, ensuring that products are accurately manufactured in an effective and timely manner
Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture parts accurately to tight tolerances
Fabricate and assembly of components as well as cutting, drilling, grinding and preparation of materials prior to welding
Meeting deadlines and targets whilst working to a high standard  What you will need to succeed:

Previous MIG welding experience essential including using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/MMA)
Ability to use electrical and manual tools
Experience in interpreting technical documents and drawings
Well-organised approach and an eye for detail
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines with excellent communication skills
NVQ Level 3 or time served What you will receive in return:
