Location: Hythe, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative on behalf of our client, a well‑established business based in Hythe, Kent. This is a full‑time, ongoing position offering full training on production machinery, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain or develop hands‑on experience within a manufacturing environment.
This role would suit a reliable and hard‑working individual who enjoys practical work, can follow instructions accurately, and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate production machinery following training and instruction.
* Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of products.
* Follow production processes and work instructions accurately.
* Carry out manual handling tasks as required.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling duties.
* Ability to follow instructions and work to set processes.
* Reliable, punctual, and committed with a strong work ethic.
* Full UK driving licence and access to own transport is essential due to the remote location.
* Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
