Job Responsibilities:
* To input all financial data on Sage software, ensuring that authorisation and documentation are received from the appropriate members of staff, and filed accessibly.
* Preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable & receivables. Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies
* Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost controls to optimise financial performance
* Raising invoices and monitoring debtors.
* Reconciling donations from online platforms, standing orders and direct debits.
* Setting up payment runs in accordance with supplier’s terms.
* Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and all tax-related matters
* Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders
* Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and processes
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (AAT, CAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* At least 2 years working within a finance role.
* Experience of using accounting software (Sage One)
* Previous experience within the hospitality, hotel, or leisure sector is highly desirable
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills
* Advanced knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Specifics:
Competitive salary £30,000 - £35,000 Per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
