How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Electronics Assembly Technician (Soldering / PCB)

Berkshire | Circa £25,500 + Benefits | Early Finish Fridays

Looking for a stable electronics role with a better work-life balance?

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established electronics manufacturer offering long-term stability, a clean working environment, and consistent hours.

If you have soldering or PCB assembly experience and take pride in precision work, this role gives you the chance to work in a structured, quality-driven environment where your skills are genuinely valued.

    Why This Role Stands Out

Early finish every Friday – more time for yourself
Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing business
    Clean, organised, professional production environment
Skilled work – not repetitive, low-level assembly
    Supportive team and well-run processes

    The Role

You’ll be part of a specialist team responsible for electronics assembly and through-hole soldering, working to high-quality standards across a range of products.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Precision hand soldering (through-hole components)
    PCB assembly and component placement
Preparing kits and materials for production
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
Monitoring your own work to ensure high quality and consistency
Supporting inspection and general production tasks
Using internal systems to track and process work

    What We’re Looking For

Experience in electronics assembly, PCB work, or soldering
Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
Comfortable working with small, delicate components
Ability to read technical drawings and follow processes
A quality-focused, reliable approach to work
A practical soldering test will be part of the interview process.

    Salary, Hours & Benefits

Up to £25,500 (depending on experience)
    37-hour working week

    Mon–Thurs: 07:30–16:00
    Fri: 07:30–12:30 (early finish)

5 weeks holiday + bank holidays
    Pension scheme (employer contributions)
    Free on-site parking
