As a Senior Technician, you will play a key role in the production, coordination and development of high-quality technical drawings and 3D models, supporting projects from early concept through to construction. Working closely with engineers, architects and project managers, the role will involve producing accurate and coordinated design information that meets project briefs, statutory requirements and internal technical standards.
The position requires strong hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD, with additional proficiency in Civil 3D to support civil engineering elements such as site layouts, drainage, earthworks and external works. The role will be primarily focused on building projects, with experience in civil engineering design considered beneficial. An understanding of how civil and structural elements integrate within building schemes will be important, particularly in relation to coordination, constructability and BIM processes.
Operating at Senior level, the role carries a high degree of technical responsibility, including contributing to BIM standards, supporting model coordination, resolving technical design issues and ensuring that deliverables are produced efficiently, accurately and to a consistently high standard. The individual will be expected to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, communicate clearly with colleagues and contribute positively to the ongoing development of technical workflows and digital delivery.
