About the Role:
Aspire People are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Telford to recruit a Year 5 Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide children as they progress through Key Stage 2, helping them develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' academic and personal development, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment. You will work alongside a friendly and collaborative staff team committed to the success of every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, teach, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and track pupils' progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet all learners' needs.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (ETCS welcome)
Passion for teaching and inspiring children in Year 5
Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and Key Stage 2 pedagogy
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Collaborative, proactive, and committed to professional development
