How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Expleo is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planning Coordinator / Maintenance Scheduling Coordinator to support our automotive customer based in Solihull(Contract role). This role is focused on developing, managing, and optimising maintenance strategies across large, complex engineering facilities.


    Working within Engineering Operations, you will be responsible for establishing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, managing work order systems, and supporting cost, schedule, and compliance requirements. This is a hands on, detail driven role that ensures the continuity and reliability of key operational equipment and facilities.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop robust preventive and corrective maintenance programmes, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
    • Manage and maintain work order systems, maintenance tracking platforms, and documentation.
    • Establish and execute survey and inspection programmes to monitor facility and equipment condition.
    • Maximise the utilisation of maintenance resources through effective planning, prioritisation, and coordination.
    • Lead the spare parts strategy, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability.
    • Ensure warranty issues are identified, tracked, and resolved with suppliers.
    • Support the creation of the maintenance budget, including cost estimation for maintenance projects and upgrades.
    • Monitor maintenance spend against budget, highlighting risks or variances.
    • Support major turnaround and shutdown activities, contributing to critical path planning and cost analysis.
    • Prepare and supply data for weekly and monthly operational reporting.
    • Maintain strong communication with operations teams, management, engineering, and procurement.


    About You

    • Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or engineering operations within manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environments.
    • Strong understanding of work order systems, maintenance processes, and resource planning.
    • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
    • Skilled in analysing maintenance data, identifying issues, and recommending improvements.
    • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Able to influence within the job area through clarity of facts, policies, and best practices.
