Work Hours: 37.5 hours on double days
As CNC Setter your Key Responsibilities will include:
Support daily production and resolve machining issues
Set and optimise CNC machines for performance and quality
Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Monitor part quality and adjust offsets to maintain capability
Prove out new CNC programs, CNC setting and setting tooling, and fixtures
Drive TPM and 5S initiatives across the shop floor
Essential Requirements
Apprentice trained or formally qualified in CNC machining
Proven experience setting CNC machines in a production environment
Strong experience with 5-axis machining (aluminium preferred)
Machining Centres / Milling Machines
Knowledge of G & M code programming (Siemens controllers advantageous)
Desirable Skills
ABB robot operation/programming
Hydraulic clamping
Knowledge of straightening processes
Experience implementing 5S / lean manufacturing
Current recent experience CNC Technician, CNC machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Miller, CNC Machining Centre
