How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Resourcer - Hospitality
    Glasgow
    £26,500 - £27,500 Per Annum + Bonus

    Due to continued growth, our Hospitality division in Glasgow is expanding. We're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to support our experienced consultants, helping to source, engage, and place candidates across a variety of roles.

    This is a genuine opportunity to build and grow your career, ideal for someone looking to step into their first recruitment role with strong leadership, hand-on training, and clear progression. You'll be part of a supportive, high-performing team, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment while developing a long-term career within Search.

    What you'll be doing:
    - Registering candidates and carrying out RTW checks
    - Booking staff onto shifts across events and venues in Glasgow
    - Matching the right people to the right roles
    - Keeping in regular contact with your candidates and supporting them while they're on assignment
    - Helping the team with day-to-day admin and recruitment tasks

    What we're looking for:
    - Previous customer service experience within any environment
    - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    - The ability to build rapport with candidates and clients
    - Organised, with good attention to detail
    - Able to work in a busy, target-driven environment
