We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN HLTA to join our supportive and dynamic team in Redbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate SEN HLTA who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
This role is based in Redbridge, within a nurturing environment that follows a Trauma - informed practice model. The successful HLTA will play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning across the school as a HLTA
Deliver targeted interventions aligned with education and training goals
Work collaboratively with teachers in Redbridge to support individual learning plans
Promote positive behaviour through a Trauma - informed practice model
Contribute to the ongoing education and training of students and staffRequirements:
Previous experience working as an SEN HLTA
Strong understanding of SEN and Trauma - informed practice
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
