Alterations Tailor/Seamstress

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor or Seamstress to join our client's high end fashion team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments to meet clients’ specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Tailor will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive high-quality, well-fitted clothing that meets their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform clothing alterations including hemming, resizing, repairs, and restyling
- Take accurate measurements and provide fitting consultations
- Work with a variety of fabrics including delicate and high-end materials
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Manage alteration timelines and ensure timely completion of orders
- Provide excellent customer service and professional advice

Requirements:
- Proven experience in tailoring or garment alterations
- Strong sewing skills (hand and machine)
- Ability to work with different fabrics and garment types
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable:
- Experience with casual wear, formalwear, and menswear tailoring
