How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

This role plays a key part in driving growth across aftermarket products and services by building strong, long‑term partnerships with dealers and customers. As an Area Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of your area, combining commercial insight, relationship management, and hands‑on sales activity to increase market penetration and deliver sustainable results.

    The Area Sales Manager will:

Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for turnover and margin within the assigned area.
Expand market penetration within the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) by identifying new customers and developing new sales channels.
Analyse sales performance and share KPIs with dealers and customers, including sell‑in, sell‑out, stock management, and competitor benchmarks.
Coach and support dealer aftermarket sales teams through structured visit plans, regular calls, and monthly performance meetings.
Provide accurate sales forecasts to management, identifying risks and opportunities, and proposing corrective actions.
The Area Sales Manager will have:

A degree in Engineering, Economics, or an equivalent commercial or technical discipline.
Solid knowledge of powertrain products and their application within aftermarket environments.
Proven experience in an area sales or key account role, ideally within aftermarket, automotive, or industrial sectors.
Strong sales, negotiation, and contract‑management skills, with a results‑driven mindset.
Experience working with financial topics such as forecasting, margin management, and credit risk awareness.
Strong coaching and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence dealers and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to take ownership of an established area, grow aftermarket performance, and play a visible role in shaping long‑term customer partnerships within a dynamic international environment.
