How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Do you want to join a business that are designing and producing the future? Are you experienced with Production Planning, delivering costs and quality targets.

    About the role:

    The Production Systems Engineer is responsible for integrating production planning, manufacturing engineering and quality systems to ensure products are delivered in line with Quality, Cost and Delivery targets. The role supports full manufacturing lifecycle – from planning and process development through to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

    Specific duties will include:

    * Production planning & coordination

    * Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery targets

    * Monitor production progress and address delays, constraints or bottlenecks

    * Liaise with Production, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure material and resource availability

    * Provide day to day engineering support to the shop floor

    * Produce and maintain process documentations including PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts and SOP’s.

    * Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste, costs and lead times.

    Desirables of the successful Maintenance Engineer:

    * Ideally be appreciate trained within an Engineering environment.

    * Having machining knowledge in order to understand the businesses process manufacturing routes.

    * Be able to use Lean & Quality tools such as PFMEA, Root cause analysis, 5s and Continuous Improvement.

    In return you will work a standard day shift pattern with an early finish on Fridays (1:00pm). A starting salary of £45,000+ DOE, Company pension 5%, Health care plan and additional company benefits.
