Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established Facilities Management company covering contracts across the Central Belt.
This is a mobile role working across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, offering a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing and reputable business.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently
* Work on a range of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and control systems
* Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance
* Complete all relevant documentation and compliance paperwork accurately
* Liaise with clients on-site and provide updates on works carried out
* Identify and report additional works or remedial requirements
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician
* 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification (essential)
* SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
* Experience working within a mobile FM / maintenance role (preferred)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and customer-facing ability
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Desirable
* Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent)
* Experience within Facilities Management / Building Services environments
* Multi-skilled background
