Role Overview - English Teacher, South East London
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring continuity of learning during your placement. You will join an established department and contribute to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support student progress across KS3 and KS4
Mark and assess student work in line with school policies
Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with the wider English department
Person Specification
QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Specialism in English
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Ability to commit to a full-time, fixed-term role
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
