I’m currently representing a manufacturing client based in Coventry who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
Quality Engineer – Job Description
Drive APQP activities to support NPI and new product launches
Lead and review PPAP submissions to meet customer and internal requirements
Support supplier quality activities and ensure purchasing processes meet quality standards
Analyse quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
Quality Engineer – Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of APQP, NPI, and PPAP processes
Experience with supplier quality and cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing quality standards
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in 8D, RCA, or similar methodologies
