How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Female PE Teacher
    Location: Hammersmith & Fulham
    Pay Range: Paid to scale
    Contract Type: Full-time

    ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and well-regarded Secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham seeking a Female PE Teacher to join their team from 1st June 2026 until the end of the academic year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to foster a positive attitude towards physical education while ensuring that students are supported to achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4.

    The school is a high performing secondary school setting with clear behaviour expectations, a strong sense of community, and collaborative departmental planning, creating and environment where teachers can focus on raising attainment through high-quality lesson delivery and targeted, inclusive approaches to teaching.

    Key Responsibilities of Female PE Teacher:

    * Deliver engaging, high-quality Physical Education lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

    * Plan and teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.

    * Effectively support students’ physical development, skills, and participation within PE.

    * Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, effort, and behaviour.

    * Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders when required.

    * Contribute to the wider community of the school (e.g. parents’ evenings, extracurricular activities) and undertake responsibilities expected of a permanent member of staff.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    * Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or another recognised teaching qualification.

    * Be a confident ECT or experienced Teacher with a PE specialism.

    * Demonstrate strong subject knowledge of the Physical Education National Curriculum, including practical and theoretical components where relevant.

    * Maintain high expectations for pupil effort, progress, and behaviour in PE lessons.

    * Show a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    * Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the PE department to support positive outcomes for students.
