An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technician to join a well-established and growing manufacturer. This role is key to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring products and processes meet required standards.
Key responsibilities
Resolve material certification issues with suppliers and test houses
Review supplier documentation for compliance with relevant standards
Support internal departments with quality and certification queries
Conduct internal audits and support external audits
Investigate product/process issues and carry out root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys)
Monitor supplier performance and support supplier development activities
Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
Support inspection activities and customer returns investigations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About you
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing, or quality environments
Understanding of quality systems and testing methods
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and data analysis skills
Proficient in Microsoft OfficeDesirable:
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards
