How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Defining, designing, installing, and continuously improving production lines to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Providing technical leadership and expertise to production and process engineering teams.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cycle time, equipment availability, and waste reduction.
Managing departmental budgets, including capital expenditure and tooling investment.
Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, and cost profiles to ensure successful delivery.
Analysing downtime, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing long‑term corrective actions.
    The Engineering Manager will have:

A strong background in manufacturing engineering, ideally within CNC machining, assembly, and test operations in an automotive or Tier 1 environment
Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams, operating with autonomy at senior management level
In‑depth knowledge of CNC machining (3‑ to 5‑axis), fixtures, machine tools, CAD (2D/3D), and technical drawings
Strong understanding of automotive standards and quality systems, including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA/FMEA, and Lean / Six Sigma
Demonstrated experience delivering process improvement, NPI, and production scale‑up programmes
Solid commercial awareness, with experience managing departmental budgets and capital expenditure
A relevant engineering or manufacturing qualification (degree preferred), with professional body membership advantageous
