How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are working with a recognised construction rental company, known for providing lifting solutions to major construction, infrastructure, and energy projects. With a strong European backing, the business partners with some of the industry’s most respected organisations to deliver complex projects with precision.

    We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Sales Manager to expand their UK presence. This is a high-impact role suited to a proactive sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering measurable growth. You’ll be empowered to take ownership of your region and build long-lasting partnerships with key clients.

    Responsibilities of the Role:

    Identifying and securing new crane hire and sales opportunities across target regions
    Developing and executing strategic plans to expand market share
    Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
    Conducting market research and competitor analysis to spot growth opportunities
    Managing the full sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals
    Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
    Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities
    Requirements of Role:

    Proven experience in Sales or Business Development within construction rental sector
    Previous experience working within the Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Powered Access industries
    Proven sales background selling into Tier 1 & Tier 2 construction companies
    Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
