How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Account Manager (Part time)

    Sector: Digital Marketing and Communications

    Location: Barnsley, Hybrid

    Job type: Part time, Permanent

    Hours: 20-25 hours per week

    We are looking for someone who enjoys keeping projects on track, inboxes clear, and clients informed. The ideal candidate will take real ownership of their role. You’ll spend time with each team member, learn what they do, how they contribute to the business, and build a clear understanding of who is responsible for each task and project. You’ll need to take initiative and quickly understand how our client operates day to day.

    This role suits someone who needs flexibility around family life, such as school runs, while still wanting to play an active part in a growing team.

    As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

    * Making sure our project management systems stays on track and up to date

    * Keep both time-based projects and retainer projects on track.

    * Taking and composing meeting notes

    * Assigning the corresponding tasks to the correct team member

    * General admin

    * Maintaining communication between agency and key client accounts

    * Act on logic and not emotions.

    Key skills required:

    * Communication - on a day to day bases you will be communicating with both the team and external clients.

    * Organisation - this is the biggest part of the role. We are looking for someone who loves systems and processes.

    * Time management - with the role being flexible it will be key for you to stay on top of your workload and keep track of your time.

    This role has been created to remove bottlenecks, keep projects moving, and make sure clients are always kept up to date. It’s also about spotting risks early, identifying when deadlines may slip, and acting before it impacts the wider project
