How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Supervisor | North London (N4) | £27.00 per hour (CIS)

    Social Housing – Reactive Maintenance | Temp to Perm

    Are you a technical Repairs Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment We are seeking a proactive Supervisor to join our team covering the N4 postcode and surrounding North London areas. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, offering immediate work at a competitive CIS rate, with the long-term security of a permanent position with a leading property services provider.

    You will be responsible for leading a team of multi-trade operatives to deliver high-quality reactive repairs across a busy social housing portfolio in the Finsbury Park, Manor House, and wider N4 area.

    THE OFFER

    Pay Rate: £27.00 per hour (CIS)

    Contract: Temp to Perm (Permanent contract offered following a successful probationary period)

    Location: North London - Focused on the N4 Postcode

    Vehicle: Company Van + Fuel Card provided

    Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

    THE ROLE

    As the Reactive Repairs Supervisor, you will be the "bridge" between the office helpdesk and the field operatives. Your goal is to ensure jobs are completed "Right First Time" while maintaining strict safety and productivity standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Operative Management: Supervise a team of multi-trade operatives (Plumbers, Carpenters, Electricians), monitoring their daily workloads and productivity.

    Pre & Post Inspections: Conduct site visits to assess complex repairs and perform post-inspections to ensure works meet the required quality standards.

    KPI Delivery: Monitor and drive performance against contract KPIs, focusing on first-time fix rates and resident satisfaction.

    Health & Safety: Ensure all works are carried out safely, conducting regular site audits and ensuring adherence to RAMS.

    Technical Support: Act as a technical point of escalation for operatives on-site, providing guidance on complex defect diagnosis.

    Resident Liaison: Resolve any resident escalations or complaints on-site professionally and efficiently.

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

    Experience: Proven experience as a Supervisor within Social Housing Reactive Maintenance.

    Trades Background: You must be from a core trade background (e.g., Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multi-trade) and be "technically heavy."

    Qualifications: * SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)

    CSCS Card (Essential)

    Asbestos Awareness (Essential)

    Skills: Strong IT literacy (comfortable using PDAs/tablets) and excellent communication skills.

    Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).

    Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the N4 / North London area is highly beneficial.
