Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school located in the DN5 area of Doncaster. This full-time, long‑term role will begin ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to delivering high‑quality learning experiences within Lower Key Stage 2.
About the Role
As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the full KS2 curriculum, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing feedback and interventions where required
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Working collaboratively with phase colleagues and teaching assistants
Communicating effectively with parents and staff
Maintaining excellent behaviour management within the classroom
Contributing to wider school life and supporting whole‑school initiatives
Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for candidates who have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the Lower KS2 curriculum
Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3
Excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
Ability to differentiate teaching to meet individual pupil needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, positive, and child‑centred approach
Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
