Despatch Operative (Training Provided) – Entry level role
Salary: Dependent on age and experience
Location: Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands
Hours: 39 hrs a week - Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:30, Friday 08:30 - 16:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Are you looking for an exciting entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career in a warehouse environment? We are currently seeking a Despatch Operative to join a well-established, family-run SME that are leaders in their market. This is a permanent, full-time role, and no previous warehouse experience is required—full training will be provided, this position would suit someone who is looking to start work within a despatch environment
You will be involved in:-
• Picking and packing a variety of goods accurately and efficiently
• Ensuring orders are despatched on time to meet next-day delivery targets
• Assisting with stock replenishment and working with the Goods In team
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
• Working as part of a busy team to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations
The ideal person will be:-
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Team player, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards
• Previous warehouse experience is not essential; they are happy to provide training!
