Key responsibilities of the HGV Technician
Servicing and repairing buses and coaches
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out safety inspections and defect repairs
Preparing vehicles for MOT and DVSA inspections
Ensuring vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
What you’ll need as HGV Technician
Experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician or HGV Mechanic
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
