How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SEN Teaching Assistant

    Location: Radford, Coventry CV6
    Weekly Pay: £500 - £525
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (term time only)
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract: Long-term, with potential to become permanentLong Term Futures are searching for a nurturing, caring and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Radford, Coventry.

    This is a 1:1 role supporting a Reception child who has been diagnosed with ASD and is based within a specialist, well-equipped resource hub within the school. You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching Assistants and an SEN teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

    What the school is looking for:

    Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
    Experience: Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis in a primary school setting.
    Skills: Experience supporting SEN, including ASD and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.
    Knowledge: A good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and maintaining, updating and reviewing progress of EHCPs.
