Head of Capital Reporting (Contract)

We are supporting a retail banking client in securing an experienced Head of Capital Reporting (Contract) to provide immediate support during a period of internal transition and restructuring.
This is a critical hire following leadership changes within Regulatory Reporting, with a focus on maintaining continuity and strengthening capital reporting capability.
The Role
You will take ownership of capital reporting activity, working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance and Risk. The role will play a key part in overseeing regulatory deliverables while supporting a team managing capital returns and related reporting processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing capital reporting (COREP) within a retail banking environment
- Supporting delivery of regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Partnering with teams across Capital and Liquidity functions
- Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members and analysts
- Supporting ongoing change and transition within the Regulatory Reporting function
- Acting as a senior point of contact for capital-related regulatory matters
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in Capital Reporting within a Retail Bank
- Strong knowledge of COREP and prudential regulation
- Experience operating at Head of / Senior Manager level
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
