How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The role

    Part time role - 25 hours working across Monday - Friday (ideally across minimum 4 days) Salary shown is full time equivalent

    Interview date - onsite 28th April

    We are looking for a customer focused individual to join a small team at one of schemes in Southam. Working onsite, this is a customer facing role and we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills. You will have strong PC skills, good attention to detail and be looking to provide excellent service to our older and vulnerable customer base. This is a busy site, and the ability to work at pace whilst delivering excellent service will be key

    This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.

    What you'll achieve

    Support the Scheme Manager in providing excellent service and ensuring a safe place for customers to live. Deal with issues round lettings, wellbeing, activities, tenancy management, safeguarding etc.
    Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and leaseholders, and ensure adhering to code of conduct and professional boundaries.
    Assist in all H+S requirements, following policy and procedure.
    Create a lively and vibrant environment to reduce social isolation.
    Monitor grounds / maintenance staff whilst onsite (internal and external teams)
    Assist in ensuring customer safety checks are completed daily/weekly /monthly and within agreed timescales.What you'll bring

    Essential skills

    Knowledge and/or experience of the issues faced by older people or vulnerable groups.
    Competent user of ICT, with the ability to send emails, compose and print letters, complete online forms and be able to use in-house IT packages.
    Uses appropriate language when dealing with internal & external people.
    Able to have a customer perspective and respond effectively to their needs and expectations.
    Able to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues to ensure the customer has a great experience of the services being delivered.Desirable skills

    CIH level 2 or 3 in Housing Practice, equivalent qualification, or the desire to undertake a professional qualificationWhy Orbit?
