Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + 6-Monthly Performance Bonus

We're recruiting for a Production Supervisor / Manager to join a growing aerospace manufacturing business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving performance, maintaining standards and getting the best out of your team.
This isn't a stand-back management role - you'll be visible on the shopfloor, solving problems, supporting your team and making sure production runs as it should.
What you'll be doing
- Leading day-to-day production across a sheet metal / fabrication environment
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with established 5S standards
- Driving performance against production targets, quality and delivery
- Supporting problem solving and continuous improvement activities
- Managing and developing shopfloor teams, ensuring strong communication and engagement
- Working with MRP systems to support production planning and efficiency
- Acting as the key point of contact for production-related issues
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor / Manager role within manufacturing
- Ideally time-served in sheet metal or fabrication
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and aerospace specifications
- Experience across processes such as CNC punching/routing, forming, heat treatment and inspection
- Good working knowledge of MRP systems
- A proactive approach to problem solving and driving improvements
- Strong leadership and people management skills
