Service Manager – Residential Child Care

£450 per day

To provide strategic leadership, management and advice on all issues related to services to Children in Care, namely: -

Residential homes for children.
Outcomes for children in care
Participation of children in care
To provide effective leadership, co-ordination and management of our Children’s Homes. 
To ensure the highest possible standards of care and security for looked after children and young people.
To make a positive andeffective contribution to the leadership of Doncaster Children’s Services.
Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure our homes meet all statutory requirements and to directly supervise the home managers to ensure positive outcomes.
To act as the Responsible Individual for children’s homes as required.
Ensure safe and supportive environment within every residential home for our children and young people and our staff.
Provide strategic management and professional advice to the Residential Homes Managers on statutory and safeguarding matters. 
Ensure that all relevant action plans, policies and statutory requirements are effectively developed and implemented.
