How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where you'll take ownership of all direct procurement while also leading the wider supply chain function, including forecasting, inventory management and 3rd‑party warehouse partners.

    You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring reliable supply, robust stock levels, and the right tools and processes to support growth.

    Description

    Lead procurement across all direct categories, ensuring sourcing of products and secure best‑value agreements.
    Strengthen and manage the supply chain function, including demand forecasting, inventory control and 3PL performance.
    Drive use of digital procurement tools and introduce new systems that improve visibility, accuracy, and collaboration.
    Run competitive e‑sourcing events and negotiations that deliver savings without compromising quality.
    Track market trends and analyse supply risks, using insight to guide sourcing decisions.
    Work closely with internal teams and external supply partners to support product development, cost accuracy, and continuity of supply.

    Profile

    A stand out applicant for this role of Procurement Manager will have:

    Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes within the FMCG or Retail industry in Food or Drink Categories
    Proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
    Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
    Familiarity with market analysis and trend forecasting.
    Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
    Delivering savings through competitive tendering or e‑sourcing.
    Experience in expanding and diversifying supply bases to improve security and value.
