How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Reception Class Teacher (Early Years / KS1)
    Location: Romford, Essex
    Pay Range: £150 – £165 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
    Contract Type: Long-term (Summer Term: 15th April – 10th July)

    ANZUK Education is working with a prestigious and welcoming preparatory school in the Romford area seeking a Reception Class Teacher to join their team for the upcoming Summer term. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead a vibrant Reception class.

    The school is known for its high standards and supportive environment, seeking an individual with strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and experience within Year 1. This school is offering a stable and rewarding placement through to the end of the academic year

    This Reception Class Teacher role would suit experienced EYFS practitioners or KS1 teachers looking to make a significant impact in a well-resourced preparatory setting.

    Key Responsibilities of Reception Class Teacher:

    * Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework and National Curriculum.

    * Create an engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environment for early learners.

    * Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment, and positive behaviour.

    * Support pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development during their foundation years.

    * Work closely with families and the Senior Leadership Team to communicate pupil progress.

    The Ideal Candidate Will:

    * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

    * Possess specific experience and knowledge of Early Years (EYFS) and Year 1.

    * Be available to start on Wednesday 15th April and commit to the full term.

    * Demonstrate a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    * Work collaboratively within a close-knit team and communicate effectively with parents.
