Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a General Foreman to join their delivery team in the Midlands.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new role
As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
- Planning daily and weekly works to achieve programme milestones
- Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality procedures
- Managing permits, inspections and method statements (RAMS)
- Driving productivity, quality workmanship and site discipline
- Supporting a positive, collaborative and safety-first site culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
- Full UK driving licence.
