The position is full time, working Monday to Friday and paying £28-£30,000 based on experience, the Stores Operative & Buyer will be involved in the efficient operation of the company's inventory and purchasing processes.
Key responsibilities for the successful Stores Operative & Buyer:
Ensure stock levels are optimised, materials are procured cost-effectively, and all storage areas are well-organised to meet operational needs
Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and quality
Process purchase orders
Ensure the stores area is organised and operating efficiently
Develop and ensure procedures are being followed for inventory and storage
Creating and maintaining accurate records for costing, trends and stock levels Requirements to be considered for the Stores Operative & Buyer
Previous buying experience is essential as as well as Stores
Strong negotiation skills
