Joining the production team, the Semi Skilled Metal Worker will support a range of metalworking operations while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a varied, hands-on Semi Skilled Metal Worker role where attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering instructions are essential. The successful Semi Skilled Metal Worker will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PEM serting operations using appropriate press equipment
Operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components
Perform counter sinking to specification and engineering drawings
Drill and tap components accurately to required tolerances
Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions
Conduct basic quality checks to ensure parts meet required standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S principles
Adhere to all health and safety procedures 
Essential Skills:

Previous experience in a sheet metal or fabrication environment
Experience with PEM serting, press brake operation, drilling, and tapping
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Understanding of workshop health and safety practices 
Desirable Experience:

Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
