Salary: £34,000
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days) and alternate Saturday mornings
Shift: 7am-5pm or 8am-6pm
Overtime: Available and paid at 1.5X

Join Our Team as a Service Controller
Required to support the service team in diagnosing faults, ordering parts and ensure the workshop runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities of the Service Controller
Industry knowledge required as will be working closely with the team where required and make recommendations for resolutions.
Ensure jobs are set up correctly and updated as the job progresses, update all relevant records in line with company processes.
Deputise for the Depot Manager to cover sickness or holidays
The service controller will be based in the depot to assist the depot Manager with all admin and technical areas of a very busy depot.
Create and maintain jobs on the system in a timely fashion.
Ordering parts for the HGV’s and Trailers
Ensure the system is updated with the correct details, hours and parts are ordered and PO's raised.
Assist with scheduling of servicing and keep all records up to date.
Update customers on the progress of jobs and obtain authorisation where required.
Required Skills and Experience for the Service Controller role:
Experience gained working within the commercial vehicle sector
NVQ / City & Guilds Level 1, 2, or 3 certificates or equivalent qualifications and experience
Excellent IT skills required - Word, Excel, Outlook and online portals.
