We're looking for a Carpenter Multi-Trade to support maintenance works across a single housing estate in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. This is a static role based within a well-established neighbourhood, with all properties located within walking distance.
A secure on-site lock-up is provided for tool storage, eliminating the need to carry equipment to and from the estate each day. While a van and fuel card are not issued for this role, a pool van is available on the estate for use during work hours if needed.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out a variety of reactive and planned maintenance tasks across council-owned properties.
Hanging doors and frames, fitting kitchens, and installing structural flooring finishes.
Replacing locks, fitting baths and basins, tiling, painting, and decorating.
Using a hand held electronic device to receive job instructions, update progress, and log completed works. Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
City & Guilds Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Site Carpentry (desirable)If you've previously worked in the social housing environment and meet the requirements listed, we'd be happy to hear from you.
