How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced accounting professional looking for the next step in your finance career? We’re looking for an Assistant Manager – Capital Accounting to join our high‑performing Record to Report (R2R) team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner directly with key business stakeholders, lead a talented team, and take ownership of crucial financial processes that support decision-making across the organisation.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy problem‑solving, and have a passion for continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.

    About the Role

As Assistant Manager for Capital Accounting, you will be the R2R lead for fixed and lease accounting, acting as the subject matter expert and providing technical guidance across the business. You’ll manage the full end‑to‑end process within your focus area—owning general ledger accounts, delivering high‑quality reconciliations, ensuring compliance, and partnering closely with business unit finance teams

You’ll represent R2R in Business Review meetings, bringing insight and clarity to both balance sheet positions and P&L impacts. The role also includes leading, coaching, and developing a team, ensuring deadlines, KPIs, and quality standards are consistently met

Taking full responsibility for period close activities in your area
Leading your team to deliver high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations within required timelines
Reviewing journals and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
Owning the balance sheet for your focus area, ensuring strong SAP understanding and alignment with business processes
Partnering with business unit finance to explain balances, resolve issues, and assess P&L impacts
Providing insightful adhoc analysis when required
Acting as the key point of contact for internal and external auditors
Collaborating with other R2R Assistant Managers on shared objectives and talent development
Ensuring robust completion of all SOx controls and maintaining a strong internal control environment
Identifying and delivering continuous improvement and simplification opportunities
Leading, coaching, and developing your team to foster collaboration, capability and successThe Ideal Candidate

Up‑to‑date knowledge of IFRS and related accounting regulations
A proven track record of delivering high‑quality balance sheet control and journal reviews
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Effective time management and project delivery skills for tight deadlines
