How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Recruitment Consultant – Driving Division

    Location: Coventry
    Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 DOE + 10% Uncapped Commission (No Threshold)
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

    About the Opportunity

    We’re working with a growing and ambitious recruitment agency looking to expand their Driving division in Coventry.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a warm desk with existing client relationships, while also having the autonomy to grow your own pipeline and make a real impact.

    The business is in growth mode, offering genuine career progression for consultants who are driven and want to build something long-term.

    The Role

    As a Recruitment Consultant within the Driving division, you will:

    * Manage a warm desk with active client requirements

    * Source, register and place HGV/Class 1, Class 2 and van drivers

    * Build and maintain a strong pool of reliable driving candidates

    * Develop new business opportunities within the transport sector

    * Manage bookings, compliance, and client relationships

    * Work towards and exceed weekly/monthly targets

    What We’re Looking For

    * Proven experience within driving or industrial recruitment

    * A strong existing pool of driving candidates (ready to hit the ground running)

    * Demonstrated billing success and consistency

    * Confident in business development and client management

    * Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
