MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading FMCG business on the search for a Warehouse Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of food and FMCG products.
* Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers, maintaining supply chain efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and ensure proper handling and storage conditions of food and FMCG products.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of logistics professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards.
* Conduct regular training sessions to improve skills and maintain team motivation.
* Coordinate and optimize transportation routes, working closely with drivers and external transport providers.
What are we looking for?
* At least 5 years of experience in logistics management within the food or FMCG industry.
* Proven track record of managing logistics teams and transportation operations.
* Experience working with third-party logistics providers and external transport services.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry-specific best practices.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
