Hourly rate: £12.90ph
Contract length: 3 months
Location: Darlington, DL1
Shift: 8am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break (Monday to Friday)
Hours per Week: 37.5
Role overview:
Performs administrative tasks for patient medical records and associated documents in accordance with an established paper-based or electronic filing system.
Responsibilities:
Creating, updating and maintaining patient medical record information in accordance with local file management practices and electronic or manual record filing systems
Retrieving, delivering and filing/storing patient records in line with daily schedules, emergency and special project needs
Reviewing medical records for completeness and accuracy of required information and taking appropriate action to ensure record integrity
Performing additional clerical and/or administrative duties as required within the medical records department.
Requirements
Previous administrative or clerical experience
Good level of computer literacy
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable with manual handling and a role that involves physical activity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role will involve manual handling and requires a good level of physical fitness
