We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable main contractor on a 12-month freelance contract based in Glasgow, with strong potential for further work beyond the initial term.
This is a site-based role on a busy, fast-paced project, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the commercial delivery from early stages through to completion. You will be joining a well-regarded contractor with a solid pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the sector.
The Role:

Commercial management of projects from start through to final account
*
Cost control, valuations, variations, and reporting
*
Working closely with site teams and senior management
*
Ensuring strong commercial performance across the project
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
*
Background working with a main contractor preferred
*
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
*
Confident, articulate, and capable of working independently
*
Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced site environment
