What you'll be doing;
* Supervise daily operations of the Road Sweeping Plant to produce high-quality recycled products through effective decision-making and task delegation
* Ensure shift personnel perform duties efficiently and safely in compliance with company RAMS, safe systems of work, and local operating procedures
* Oversee coordination of machinery and equipment cleaning programmes and conduct essential machinery and plant checks
* Manage waste and product flows and associated traffic management systems
* Liaise with all operational departments to organize safe collection inputs and coordinate acceptance and processing of loads
* Coordinate the collection and delivery of end products from the Road Sweeping Plant
* Identify and requisition parts needed for plant maintenance and operations
* Prepare and submit monthly tonnage reports
What we're looking for;
* Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational environment with ability to work collaboratively with other teams to maximize throughput and output
* Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills and ability to perform effectively in highly pressurized environments
* IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent qualification required
* Comprehensive knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working systems
* Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to coach and motivate team members
* IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages and SCADA systems
* Experience in washing/aggregate recovery operations and mobile plant operation
* Loading Shovel and Tele-handler licenses desirable but not essential
* Full UK driving licence essential
