How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Location: Various Schemes Upcoming in London
    Salary: £80,000 – £110,000 + Benefits
    Company: A Forward‑Thinking Main Contractor

Are you ready to take the lead on landmark projects and drive delivery on schemes that truly stand out? Our client, a progressive main contractor with a strong national pipeline, is seeking a talented Project Manager to oversee major developments ranging from £60m to £180m across student accommodation, private residential, and hotel sectors.

You’ll run all on‑site construction activities and report into a visiting Project Director—giving you real autonomy while benefiting from senior support and guidance.

    The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to take ownership of complex, high‑value projects that offer genuine impact, career visibility, and the opportunity to shape major additions to the built environment.

With multiple live and upcoming schemes, this role is ideal for someone who wants to step into a future leadership pathway within a modern, high‑performing contractor.

    Key Responsibilities

Lead all on‑site delivery for large‑scale projects from £60m to £180m
Manage site teams, subcontractors, logistics, programme, safety, and quality
Ensure smooth coordination across design, commercial, and operational functions
Take responsibility for progress reporting and key metrics to the visiting Project Director
Uphold high standards of efficiency, compliance, and project excellence
Champion digital tools, innovative methods, and a culture of continuous improvement

    About You

We’re looking for a confident, forward‑thinking Project Manager with a track record of delivering large, complex build schemes.

To be considered, you must have:

Successfully managed at least two projects as a Project Manager within student accommodation, hotel, or multi‑unit residential sectors
Strong experience with RC frame or large‑format construction
Demonstrable leadership of site teams and subcontractor management
The ability to drive programme, quality, and stakeholder communication at all levels
It’s a bonus if you have:

    Experience on projects £40m+
Familiarity with digital construction tools or modern build methodologies
A collaborative, solutions‑led approach to project delivery

    What’s On Offer

£80k – £110k basic salary, depending on experience
Clear progression into senior project leadership
    Exciting pipeline of major projects
    Supportive, modern working environment
    Opportunity to deliver sector‑defining schemes

    Ready to Lead Major Projects?

If you're an ambitious Project Manager who wants to take charge of high‑value developments with a contractor known for innovation and quality, we’d love to hear from you.
