    Job description

    Role – Landscape Planner
    Location – Glasgow

    Salary - £DOE

    Our client, a small multidisciplinary studio in Glasgow is looking to recruit a Landscape Planner with experience preparing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments. They work across a range of landscape planning and environmental assessment projects throughout the UK, including renewable energy, infrastructure and other major developments. Due to an increase in project workload, they are looking to bring in someone who can contribute to LVIA work and support projects through the planning process.

    The office is well located in Glasgow with good access to public transport, making it easy to reach from across the city and surrounding areas.

    The Role

    You will be involved in the preparation of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for a variety of development projects. This will include site visits, baseline analysis, visual assessment work and report writing as part of wider Environmental Impact Assessment projects. The position will involve working closely with experienced landscape planners and environmental specialists across multiple schemes.

    Requirements

    * Degree in Landscape Architecture

    * Around 5 years’ experience working on landscape planning or LVIA projects

    * Experience preparing or contributing to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments

    * Strong report writing and analytical skills

    * Ability to manage your own workload and contribute to project delivery
