Procurement Officer
Pity Me, Durham
Salary: £35,548 per annum.
Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 10am on Wednesday 25th March.

About the Procurement Officer Role:
This role will involve:
* Giving excellent procurement support across the Bernicia Group.
* Evaluating and managing procurement activities.
* Maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Your Experience:
Successful candidates will need:
Essential:
* Minimum of two years public procurement experience
* Have proven tendering experience including market engagement, contract drafting and evaluations.
* Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* IT skills including the use of Microsoft packaged including Word and Excel.
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team
Desirable:
* CIPS Qualification
* Experience of delivering services within the social housing sector.
* Experience of e-procurement systems specifically In-Tend.
